James Wan, the director of Aquaman, has revealed the logo for his film (via Twitter) as well as dropped when we will actually see the first trailer for the film. That's right kiddies, it will be at Comic-Con 2018.
AFJ's Take: Comic-Con is the right place to debut a trailer for a film of this magnitude. However, will DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. keep it to Hall H only? They did this in the past and low-res versions of trailers and scenes have surfaced. Our advice to the minds that are (currently) controlling the DCEU is to release that trailer to the world 5 seconds after it screens at Comic-Con. Get the buzz going, good or bad, and get people talking about the film. Screening it for 7,000 people in San Diego is fine, circa 2002. Today, that's just pissing off an already volatile fan base.
Comic-Con will be insane!! This is the new glyph/logo. Freshly smuggled out of Atlantis! (stolen off King Orm’s belt buckle) pic.twitter.com/NLmIXUaXEM
