Oscar Nominations 2019 – Black Panther Gets Best Picture Nom!

The Oscar nominations are out and the big news is that Marvel Studios has landed their first Best Picture nominee. That's right kiddies, The Black Panther has become the first Marvel film to get a Best Picture nomination! We don't think it will win, Alfonso Cuarón's Roma has 10 nominations (that's almost Titanic and Ben Hur numbers there, Junkies), but it does set a new precedent for Marvel. This is going to be fun Oscars this year. We have all the nominations below, as well as links to our reviews of several of the films. #AFJ4LIFE

The Academy Awards will air live Feb. 24 at 5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET on ABC.
