The One:12 Collective Popeye – Deluxe Sailor Edition
I09.com called the regular One:12 Popeye release "a Nightmare the World Was Not Meant to See". We thought that was a bit harsh as we believed him to be one of the finest interpretations of the character ever produced. So when Mezco Toyz released a Deluxe Sailor Edition, we jumped on this bad boy pretty quick. The pre-orders have, now, arrived and what better way to celebrate the Sailor Man's 100th birthday than by getting one of these!
One:12 Collective Tactical Suit Batman - Order HERE
If you are a fan of the One:12 Line produced by Mezco than you probably already order one fo the Justice League Tactical Suit Batmans. If not, you are in luck because they are still available. Any One:12 is a fine addition to a Junkie's collection, however, this one has a fantastic assortment of Bat-accessories that will enable you to spend hours enjoying him.
Terminator 2 (T2) - 7" Scale Action Figure - Kenner Tribute Assortment - Order HERE
These are hitting Target locations across the US, now. Announced at Comic-Con 2018, this is NECA's tribute to the old Terminator 2 Kenner line. All three are spectacular, but if we're to pick just one of the three it would be the T-100. He changes color with various degrees of temperature.
NECA - Alien vs Predator (Arcade Appearance) - 7" Scale Action Figures - Order HERE
Again, NECA nails the Predator figures and all three of these are in the style of the SNES classic game, ALIEN vs PREDATOR. What's great is that despite it being based on the video game, they have a slightly more realistic appearance. All three of these have been spotted at Target (if your Target actually stocks its NECA section).
One:12 Collective Darkseid - Order HERE
There is an obvious shift in demand for a certain release in Mezco's One:12 line. What is it? The price. Darkseid is $100 more than your average One:12 but his massive size and light up features make him all the worthwhile. He is currently available for purchase. Why did we put him on the hottest of January if he is easy to get? When you see him in person, you'll know. He simply breathes with life. Bravo, Mezco!
Avengers: Infinity War Hulk SH Figuarts Action Figure - Order HERE
SH Figuarts really does give Hasbro a run for their money when it comes to likeness, sculpt, and articulation. Their latest release of the Hulk from Avengers: Infinity War is the perfect hot toy for January 2019.
FUNKO AVATAR THE LAST AIRBENDER POP! AANG ON AIRSCOOTER VINYL FIGURE HOT TOPIC EXCLUSIVE - Order HERE
Now, there is a variant chase to look for as well, but that is its own odyssey for Pop! Collectors. We will place the Aang on Airscooter Hot Top Exclusive on the list and be done with it. Get this figure now, it may help out with some car payments down the road.
Star Wars: The Black Series Archive Wave 1 - Order HERE
We'll admit it, we cheated and pre-ordered this set when they became available (see unboxing video HERE). Thank Yoda we did as the whole wave has been difficult to find at brick and mortar stores. Why? Well all 4 of these figures, the originals, have skyrocketed in price since their release. Now they are available again for purchase. This means all the Junkies who did not open them, the first time, will buy this one and keep the other sealed away. Mega Construx Heroes Masters of the Universe Figures - Order HERE
This one hit us as a surprise Junkies. Perhaps it has something to do with the high prices of the Super7 releases or that these are just easier to pick up?! The Mega Construx Heroes Masters of the Universe figures are disappearing quickly. Evil-Lyn is only per case, in the individual releases, so guess who is the hottest of the series, right now?
Red Goblin - Marvel Legends Spider-Man Wave 11 (Kingpin BAF) - Order the full wave HERE
All right, cool figure, but you are probably asking who is the Red Goblin? Well, he just happens to be Norman Osborn who bonded with the symbiote known as Carnage. Yep, all kinds of bad times for Spider-Man coming with this guy. Now of the Marvel Legends Wave 11 line, this is the hottest of the bunch. If you find him, flip him quick on a trade or sale. Why? Remember the Lizard Wave from a year ago? Those figures are now showing up everywhere, and the Kingpin Wave is super scarce, make your money and play the long game.
