There's some sad news breaking last week. AFJ's own moderator extraordinaire and Grossery Gang enthusiast Justin Pompa wrote to Moose Toys hoping for a snippet of info for the next wave. Moose Toys confirmed to Justin that the Grossery Gang are taking a break in 2019. What exactly a “break” means is up for interpretation. However, it's never a good thing.
The speculation in the popular Grossery Gang Facebook Group is that Moose will quietly discontinue all Grossery Gang products. With Toy Fair just around the corner, this news is definitely going to be a hard pill to swallow. This is a time of year when we, all Junkies, hope for awesome news of new figures, not news of their demise. All lines eventually die, it just comes as a bit of a shock that one so popular would be fading so quickly.
