Yes, the image above was a huge tip-off, if you didn't already know. This says several things to me. First and foremost, Hasbro ran a fair contest. I honestly believed the likes of Willrow Hood (aka Ice Cream Maker guy) or Lobot were going to win ) both pictured directly below. Secondly, there are more new fans of Star Wars than the old die-hards, like myself. I certainly didn't want another Luke Skywalker, but, yes, I will pick him up anyway.
There is still a lot of time between now and The Empire Strikes Back 40th Anniversary, of which Hasbro, Disney, and Lucasfilm Ltd., will have a full year to celebrate. I just hope, as Hasbro has done before, that they announce a runner up. I doubt it will be Lobot, who seemed like an obvious choice to be made anyway. Personally, I really thought Dennis Lawson, aka Wedge Antilles, was finally getting the green light. Perhaps for Return of the Jedi's 40th, he will. #AFJ4LIFE
